Examination Rules & Regulations

Examination Cell - University of Mumbai

Important Notice The Examination Cell of the college conducts all examinations as per the University of Mumbai rules and guidelines. All students are required to strictly follow the rules and regulations mentioned below.

Examination Form & Eligibility
  • Students must fill and submit the examination form within the prescribed schedule announced by the Examination Cell.
  • Examination forms without complete fees, attendance requirement, or eligibility clearance shall not be accepted.
  • Students with pending fees, documents, or ADP/eligibility issues will not be allowed to appear for examinations.
  • The Examination Cell shall not be responsible for non-submission or late submission of forms by students.

Hall Ticket
  • Students must carry a valid hall ticket and college identity card for every examination.
  • Entry into the examination hall without a hall ticket is strictly prohibited.
  • In case of loss of hall ticket, students must immediately contact the Examination Cell.
  • Hall tickets are non-transferable.

Examination Conduct
  • Students must report to the examination hall at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Students shall occupy their seats as per the seat number displayed.
  • Use of mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators (unless permitted), or any electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited.
  • Students must maintain silence, discipline, and proper behaviour during the examination.
  • Students must follow all instructions given by invigilators and Examination Cell staff.

Unfair Means / Malpractice

  • Any form of copying, possession of unauthorized material, impersonation, or misconduct shall be treated as unfair means.
  • Students found guilty of malpractice shall be punished as per University of Mumbai rules.
  • Penalties may include: Cancellation of examination, Debarring from further examinations, Other disciplinary actions.
  • The decision of the Examination Cell and Principal shall be final and binding.

ATKT, Revaluation & Photocopy
  • Applications for ATKT, revaluation, or photocopy of answer books must be submitted within the prescribed time.
  • Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
  • Revaluation results declared by the University shall be final.

Results & Corrections
  • Students must verify their results immediately after declaration.
  • Any discrepancy related to marks, subject, or personal details must be reported to the Examination Cell within the stipulated time.
  • Requests submitted after the due date will not be entertained.
  • The Examination Cell shall not be responsible for errors arising due to incorrect information provided by students.

Certificates & Documents
  • Students must apply for mark sheets, transcripts, provisional certificates, and other documents as per the prescribed procedure.
  • All dues must be cleared before issuance of any examination-related document.
  • Processing time depends on University and college norms.

General Instructions
  • Students must regularly check the college notice board, website, and official communication for examination updates.
  • Ignorance of examination rules will not be accepted as an excuse.
  • Students must cooperate with the Examination Cell for smooth conduct of examinations.

Final Authority

The Principal is the final authority in all examination-related matters.

Decisions taken by the Examination Cell shall be final and binding on students.
