(For Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff)

In accordance with the guidelines of UGC / University / Statutory Bodies and as per the institutional policy to ensure a fair, transparent, and effective mechanism for redressal of grievances of employees, it is hereby informed that the Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) for Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff of the institution is constituted with immediate effect.
The Grievance Redressal Cell shall function to address grievances related to service conditions, work environment, interpersonal issues, administrative decisions, and any other matter affecting the professional well-being of employees.
Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Cell
- To provide a supportive and unbiased platform for Teaching and Non-Teaching staff to express grievances.
- To ensure timely and impartial redressal of grievances.
- To promote a healthy and harmonious work environment.
- To uphold the principles of natural justice and confidentiality.
- To prevent recurrence of grievances through corrective and preventive measures.
Composition of the Grievance Redressal Cell
The Grievance Redressal Cell shall consist of the following members:

Functions and Powers
- To receive written grievances from Teaching and Non-Teaching staff.
- To acknowledge grievances within 2 working days.
- To conduct meetings and hearings as required.
- To examine relevant records, documents, and necessary documents or clarifications.
- To recommend suitable remedial actions to the Head of the Institution.
- To maintain proper records of grievances and actions taken.
- To submit an annual report of grievances to the IQAC / Management.
Procedure for Redressal
- The aggrieved employee shall submit a written grievance (hard copy or email) to the Member Secretary.
- The grievance shall be placed before the GRC for consideration.
- The Cell may call the concerned parties for a hearing, if required.
- The decision/recommendation shall be communicated to the complainant within 30 days of receipt of the grievance.
- In case the complainant is not satisfied, the matter may be escalated to the Management / Governing Body.
Confidentiality
All proceedings and records of the Grievance Redressal Cell shall be treated as confidential, and no information shall be disclosed except with the approval of the competent authority.
