A Journey of Excellence & Recognition
St. Wilfred's College of Arts, Science & Commerce was established in the early 2012 near Shedung Toll Plaza on the Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, Panvel, with the aim of providing quality higher education to students from Navi Mumbai and surrounding regions. The institution began its academic journey by offering undergraduate programs affiliated with the University of Mumbai, creating a foundation for holistic and industry-relevant education.
Over the subsequent decade, St. Wilfred's strengthened its infrastructure and student services, introducing modern facilities such as a well-stocked library, seminar halls, auditoriums, laboratories, and hostel accommodations. These developments complemented its growing emphasis on research, experiential learning, and co-curricular engagement.
College is designed to enrich intellectual engagement, encourage interdisciplinary exploration, and support academic excellence. The library functions as a dynamic knowledge hub, providing access to a wide spectrum of scholarly resources that facilitate research, innovation, and lifelong learning.
We dedicate our intellectual resources for advancement in the field through research activities to empower students with requisite expertise to achieve their dreams. By 2026, St. Wilfred's College of Arts, Science & Commerce had emerged as a recognized centre of higher education in the Navi Mumbai region, distinguished by its academic standards, student-centric practices, and holistic development initiatives. A significant milestone in its journey was the accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a B++ grade, affirming the institution's commitment to quality education, governance, and continuous improvement.
